Welcome to the 2026 Parade!

 

RULES FOR PARADE

  • All vehicles must be operated and supervised by licensed, insured, and responsible ADULT drivers.

  • ONLY Manpower, horsepower or a motorized vehicle may tow floats.

  • EVERYTHING and EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY FRIENDLY PARADE must be in costume and decorated as theme or Mardi Gras.

  • PARADE ROUTE: Runs along Woodland Blvd. from Michigan Avenue to Howry Avenue. Krewe Floats turn right and all other Entries turn left at the end of the parade

  • PLEASE enter Woodland Boulevard from Plymouth Avenue. ONLY Floats and theme-decorated vehicles will be allowed to enter the parade staging area.

All parade entries must be in the staging area no later than 10:00 AM. Late arrivals will forfeit their assigned location and will be directed to line up at the end of the parade.

Float and Vehicle Line Up: 8:00 am - 10:00 am You MUST enter Woodland at Plymouth. 

 

Business Walking Entries: 8:00 am - 10:00 am Woodland Blvd 

 

Dog Costume Contest - 8:00 am Takes place at University & Woodland. You can sign-up on Saturday. $40 for one Dog, $50 for up to 4 Dogs.

 

Dog Costume Winners - 10:30 am Winners announced and escorted to lineup positions

Parade Begins - 11:00 am

 

Festival Begins - 12:30 pm (estimate) on Georgia Ave kick-off at Cafe Da Vinci 

 

Festival Closes - 3:00 pm

 

The Parade lineup indicates your number along the parade route to stage on Woodland Boulevard. It will be marked with a sign. Please adhere to the map and allow for the vehicular right of way.
