Dog Costume Details:

8:00 am - Check in and day of sign-ups. *The fee for registration of your dog/group for the day of sign up will be higher than pre-registration.

Registration and judging takes place in front of Stetson's Cummings Gym located at 536 N. Woodland Boulevard.

8:00 -10:00 am - Judging

10:15 am - Winners are announced, sashes given  and pictures will be taken.

10:40 am - All Dogs will be directed to their location in the Parade Line-up.

11:00 am - Parade Starts

Immediately after parade - Winners will be recognized and gift bags given at Cafe DaVinci on Georgia Ave. Winners MUST be present to get gifts. We welcome all participants to join us on Georgia Ave for our Festival!

Parade Details:

You will receive an email the Thursday prior (2/16) to the parade (2/18) with all the details including your Space # and a mock-up of the line-up. 


7:30 -10:00 am - Arrive to find your spot in the line-up. You should know your spot number BEFORE arriving. The list will also be available one our website by the Friday prior (2/17) of the parade. www.delanddogparade.com

 

You must enter Woodland Blvd from the North. If you are coming from the South, we recommend using Plymouth.
 
Floats / Cars/ Groups must be decorated in either Mardi Gras themed or Mardi Gras in La Habana themed. You can decorate your float or car after arrival. 

Parade will start at 11:00am. The East side of Woodland will move first and then the West side will follow.

Festival Details:

10:00 am - 3:00 pm - The Festival kicks off at 10:00am. You can visit before the parade or come by after and enjoy the Food Trucks, local Vendors and the party on Georgia Ave. Immediately after the parade, join us at Cafe DeVinci and meet the Royalty of Krewe of Amalee. You won't want to miss it when we will announce the winners of both the Dog Costume and Parade entrants!

Vendors will need to enter Georgia Ave from Florida Avenue. Vendors will receive an email the Thursday before (2/16) the event with additional details. You will be given your location upon arrival. Vendors must be set up by 10:00am

7:00 to 8:00 am - Vendor Setup 

9:00 am - Cars Must Be Off The Street

10:00 am - Festival Starts

11:00 am - Mardi Gras Dog Parade Begins

12:00 pm - Band Starts at Café DaVinci

12:45 pm - Introduction of Royalty | Awards Presentation

3:00 pm - Band Concludes at Café DaVinci

3:00 pm - Teardown Begins | Event Concludes

4:00 pm - Street Reopens
