For over twenty years, the Krewe of Amalee has hosted this community gift, the annual Mardi Gras DeLand dog parade. Each year, the theme changes and delights the thousands of dog lovers with the costumed creativity marching down our Mainstreet.

The theme for our 25th annual Dog Parade is Mardi Gras!
Dress your pup, float or person in purple, gold and green. The Mardi Gras dogs will be marching through DeLand on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11 AM.
Attached you will find a map (numbers are an approximation we like to leave plenty of room for vehicles and floats to enter the lineup) and a list of the lineup.
Reminders:
- All vehicles must be operated and supervised by licensed, insured, and responsible ADULT drivers.
- Only Manpower, horsepower, or motorized vehicles tow floats.
- You may throw beads. Please be cautious with your toss. Unfortunately, we do not have any beads for sale. Sponsors your beads will be delivered to you if your level of sponsorship offered complimentary beads.
- Parade route runs along Woodland Blvd. from Michigan Avenue to Howry Avenue. You will be directed to turn right or left on Howry at the end of the parade.
- Entries will be judged in the three categories floats, theme-decorated vehicles, and business walking entries.

The Parade Registration table will open at 7:30 am on the corner of West University and Woodland Blvd.
Float and Vehicle Line Up begins at 9:30 am
Business Walking Entries are asked to line up no later than 10:30 am
8:00 - 9:15 a.m.
Dog Costume Contest
10:00 a.m.
Awards

The parade will go down Woodland Blvd. starting at Michigan and ending at Howry

Festival on Georgia Avenue
